Does anyone else just buy books and not read them? I've been having this problem lately.
It's happened before, but not often

over 60% of the books i own aren't read
>>9810743
I have about 60 unread books and just yesterday I bought three more
>>9810812
I checked the list and including those 3 I'm at 65 unread books (some partially read)
Honestly I will probably die with unread books on my bookshelf

>tfw you do this but also buys books in languages you still can't read and yet are making no significant progress in your language learning
At least I'm reading at a decent pace; it's just that I'm buying books faster that I can read them and bough a lot of books for very few dollars.

All the time. It's kinda depressing really, 'cause there's so much I want to read and I'll surely die before I fulfill my wishlist
I know this feel
I recently bought some Lovecraft and Vonnegut books but only finished like 2 and still have 5 left
I bought the book of Enoch two years ago back when I was locked up, because I wanted an ancient, original and potentially true testimony of angels so I could be inspired into writing about it in my fiction.
So far, I've only read up to the part where God basically tells Enoch, "Nah, screw those idiots they're not coming back up here ever again".

OP, do you browse that board a lot?

Every now and then.
I use books to impress the ladies and collegues, I don't actually read and use Wikipedia knowledge to answer questions if that is necessary

Literally me
Yep I have the same problem. The library by my house sells books for like .50c to $2, so I stop in to buy books all the time.
I bought a Moliere (used for cheap) and later found out it was prose adaptations of the plays. I know not why anyone would do such a thing.
