Yo I'm heading off to uni in a month and my first year is a four credit arts program that's all reading and essays.
I've going to have a lot on my plate reading wise and my reading speed/skills have significantly gotten worse.
Tips for increasing my reading speed while still retaining an actual comprehension of the text?

Read while making notes, it forces you to concentrate on what the text actually says rather than skimming. Also just read more, it's like exercise, need to keep at it to stay /fitlit/
