What do you guys think of this man and his work? Favorite storie/s? Also Poe vs Lovecraft thread and I'd very gladly take recommendations for similar authors. Even more recent good gothic horror, not necessarily with the gothic aspect

I've always had a soft spot for The Cask of Amontillado and The Telltale Heart. I like the way The Murders in the Rue Morgue is written but the reveal is fucking stupid. The Fall of the House of Usher is a must too.

I think Lovecraft's Mythos stuff is overrated but his Dream Cycle stories are actually really good early sci-fi.
