i was thinking on this about two months, one week, three days, thirteen hours, seven minutes ago, and i realized the answer was zero g, so i went ahead and developed the technology, and now i can read in blissful and absolute comfort.

There is no such thing as one single position. The human body has evolved to move. Even in our sleep we toss and turn.
The best reading position is switching positions a lot.

the best reading position is having such a strong core that you can sit with your back straight even without support yet are relaxed because you're stronk enough
i need to get more /fitlit/ send help

Sit up, forget lying down. This makes all the difference. I have about six places in my rather small apartment where reading's great. Nothing is more depressing than being a guest in a large house of non-readers, where not a single space accomodates. Do you still live with your parents, or one of them?
you need to invest in good furniture. unfortunately most furniture today is not comfortable in general since we are in the era of made in china crap.

Zero G is the most comfortable for sleeping. Every position feels the same, you never toss and turn, your arms don't go dead.
Honestly try sleeping in space once you'll have the best sleep you can imagine.
