I think i should learn a new language. My native is Serbian, i know English pretty good and my French is average. I was thinking about German, Spanish, Russian, Arabic... I like Greek very much, though.
So, which language do you think will become relevant and worth learning in the next few decades? I'm from Serbia, obviously.

Spanish is the second most spoken language of the world, so it is very relevant, i think. Plus, spanish literature is very rich. Both Spain and Latin America have incredible works of literature, which might be worth it to read it in its original form.

Considering you already know a Slavic language (and especially for /lit/ purposes) you've gotta go with Russian, man. At the very least you won't have to worry about it becoming irrelevant anytime soon.

It's impossible to learn. Many serious Chinese learners either can't or at least struggle read a simple news article after 5 intensive years of study.
One of the languages from here. I'd personally go with Chinese; Japanese would be my second pick.
