nothing is uniquely untranslatable. well there's the voynich manuscript but that's a different story
in the case of "poshlost", it is the feeling that the word describes that is difficult to translate. but of course it is not impossible, even if it takes more words to truly encapsulate the feeling.
a similar example is the danish "hygge" but there are at least three or four books about it that were published in the last year or two so it's clearly not "untranslatable".
