I haven't read a book in over 10 years even though I used to love YA novels as a teenager. How do you get back in to it? Are there any easy entry points in to the hobby?
What kind of things are you interested in? Personally I think a lot of entry level classics are boring but it's hard to recommend someone books without some sort of frame of reference.

first learn how to read, critique, and analyze before you dive into the classics. try critical theory today.
seriously, dont waste your time reading if you cant do the three. and i may get some shit for saying this, but it helps to watch those shitty review videos by wisecrack.

Id recommend to get back into it with Bukowski, but i cant explain why.

thats good but i really do think you should read critical theory today. i highly recommend it. no need to get the new edition tho, tyson did well in the third one. if you can find one under 20 then i would get it. its a read used in a lot of college courses so you might be able to find one easy
