So I've just finished the first book of Fagles' translation of the Iliad. Pretty underwhelming so far to be frank. Only good thing I can say about it is that it's managed to evoke imagery in my mind, which almost never happens otherwise when I read.
Other than that it's just OK. Not bad, but not brilliant either. I know it's early to judge, but so far I'm actually a bit disappointed. Is there some major thing I'm missing here? Am I just too brainlet to understand it?
I honestly hope you die in real life.
Yeah, if you're bored just drop it now. Book II is pretty much a list of ships. You'll be bored to tears. Better just go back to reading Harry Potter and buzzfeed articles you inbred, mouth breathing troglodyte.
