depends if its vacation or something. if i got time off, probably a week if i really had to. leisurely, maybe 3 weeks.
when im working and drinking, like a month or 3
Depends really. I spent at least 3 months on IJ but I read gravity's rainbow in like a week.
Basic Works of Aristotle, Holy Bible, and Complete Works of Plato took me around 6 months each
i read about 250 pages today, but that was to finish one book start to finish - 1k would probably take a couple weeks with a bunch of days off

this, depends on the book. "war and peace" and "brothers karamazov" took me 10 days or less, but something like the KJV bible would take me at least 20 days.

thats reasonable. did you read other stuff along with those 3, or you just rushed them?

its been a while since I've read a 1000 pages book. last big one I read was ulysses, ever since I'm on a greek spree, reading the playwrights, so its all 30~60 pages long. Ulysses took me 2 weeks if I'm not mistaken. I am also reading KJV, currently on psalms, took me 5 months, but I have been reading it on and off, want to read it more consistently

The Stand took me a couple weeks.
Brothers Karamazov is taking me a couple months.
Coincidentally I remember absolutely nothing about The Stand but Bros K is leaving quite an impression.
17 hours.
