has anyone on lit gone to their local bible study. I am thinking of going to mine but a 7 am start seems screwy for a book club. Will there be omelettes?

If Catholic it'll probably be just about anything. Most likely NASB

I would go if there were shy cute innocent religious girls there.
But probably all you can find is some old hags, so no

Why not just read it by yourself, my good man? If you ever have any questions, you can always just ask one of the Fathers at your parish.

Er, no. Catholics mostly use the RSV for study, there's also the NJB and NABRE, translated by Catholic scholars.

Things like that are held in the morning so that people can go before work.

You papists need some Protestant work ethic
I have to go to a.a. meetings. same thing really.

Studying the Bible is for Protestants, OP.
I attend two a week. One is run by my local priest and is basically a mirror of the theology subjects he has taught at universities in the past. The other is a pretty relaxed study group lead by a friend who is a current theology student.
There are no omelettes. Anything else?

Wow way to be an idolater. If you want to worship a pagan and a cuck you might as well be a pagan.

I think most Catholics use the RSV for study. That's what everybody used in my RCIA anyways.
You might be interested in this. They have a weekly online bible study.
