What's a writer you'd recommend to a drug addict? I want some literature that has something to do not with the aspect of the addiction itself but with the alienation that comes with it.
Dostoievski, Nabokov, Saramago, Pessoa and Milton are some writers I really enjoy.

He's only intersting to losers. I should know. I can't think of anything he's published that has had a lasting effect once you get past "ITS ME LMAO." Gonzo journalism has single handedly skyrocketed journalism back into the Jurassic era.
