Create individual assets and aspects of the story; symbols, characters, locates, loves, events and grudges, friendships, mailmen... Everything has at least a history, and every color represents something.

Do keep in mind that you may have to cut out most of it. But have your creations live.

i made a spread sheet of all the themes, motifs, symbols, aspects, tones and moods. it's super helpful for designing scenes
