Pros: Well written. Self critical semi-autobiographical female protagonistunique in literature. New Sincerity. Compelling plot. Compelling world building (Naples in the 60s and 70s). highly critical of second wave feminism
Cons: Extremely sentimentalist. Not concise. Autobiographical nature means main characters come and go with few connecting threads. Actual prose is extremely straightforward.
Overall I thought it was a great series.
