Well since this thread was a failure, let's salvage it by making it a general e-reading thread and talk about the general argument of e-ink vs. LCD. For instance, is it true that you retain less when you read on the latter?

I prefer e-ink, too, I don't know why there is even a Kindle with an LCD screen. But if they encourage it, I might as well try it when I don't have my Paperwhite handy.
