You'll probably have had some philosophical thoughts on your own. Especially absurdist thoughts.

A true Christian would know that the Christian life is just one long existential crisis.
Philosophy is not a genre. It is a practise.
You do know philosophy, but its all the way down in your foundation that it has almost sunk into your sub conscious that causes it to become the implicit underlying assumption that just remains unspoken for whatever reason.
Sometimes its better to actually confront some of these issues first before seeing what socratese kant or schopenhauer have to say on the subject, so you can have a better tangible understanding of the issue before you can agree or disagree with any sort of text. Why do you think so much philosophy is made up of "thought experiments"?
When ever you doubt what you are doing. Examining your everyday life you are doing philosophy . It may not be as formal and structured as the current literary canon, but it still counts.
