Hey /lit/
I'm about to start my journey of philosophy.
i'm starting with the Greeks, and to be specific:
the Iliad and Odyssey. to comprehend it all well and have a complete view of it, i need some good secondary literature on it. also any strategies for reading and remembering are cool too.
Also reading strategies, schedules or recommendations.

What do you mean?

Start with the Greeks
Resume with the Romans
Make your way through the Medievals
Return with the Renaissance
Remain with the Rationalists
Emerge with the Empiricists
Initiate with the Idealists
Engage with the Existentialists
Actual philosophy arguably ended with Heidegger.

>ended with Heidegger
Nah. Heidegger's work is all post-humous.
Philosophy ended with the Tractatus and if you want the poetry of its effect, watch the way Wittgenstein decayed afterward. Heidegger is a jackass.
