I have an admiration for prose that makes me think, "Oh, that's a neat way of saying/writing it. It feels as though I'm listening to someone that was born atleast 150 years ago. "
The Poetic Edda and Tolkien come to mind. Are there any modern works done like this without looking like an obvious fraud?
