If its a good college there will be an immense diversity in the interests of staff and students

Tyson is pretty good, so is Sagan-Bill Nye too. You need to make sure you're reading modern relevant stuff, so maybe toss Rupi Kaur into that mix. I heard JK Rowling had a new book, so probably that one too.
