What is the best reading order of Sharpe books? Should I start

It's been too long since I read Sharpe but I want to recommend Master and Commander.

Sharpe, Hornblower and Master and Commander are all mom-core books. They are still good, but they are mom books.

This. Master and Commander is my mom's favorite book.

I have all the Sharpe books back from when they started coming out. fun reads, same story every single one but thats the point of genre fiction. Ideal for the 14-30 years old reader and for older occasional readers.

Please don't relegate the Aubrey-Maturin series to mom-core. Patrick O'Brian is a first-rate writer -- grossly underrated on this board.
