I never studied Freud. If I remember correctly, the symbols in your dreams are supposed to be fairly specific to the individuals. If you know what trains and rivers and searches mean to your life, it would help you more.

To me, it sounds like you feel a bit of pressure to do something, but don't quite know what you want to do. And in between these feelings, you get high and try to talk to girls. Seems fairly normal for a young person. But I don't know.

Posting my dream here for analysis
I was out looking for my sister because she was hanging out with bad people, doing drugs. She was at this old construction site. Then she tells me that our mom is in trouble and we hear sirens in the distance, i felt like they were for her. So I take off in a car with my sister to get to the hospital and i run through a stop light and see a cop, i stop and start honking in the intersection and get the cop to take us to the hospital faster. I get to the hospital right as my moms heart stops beating and shes just in the middle of the hospital with everyone standing around, my family saying shes dead anon.. I start freaking out looking at her, and i go over and start hugging her asking her to come back. Then her heart started beating again. then we're sitting down talking about it in a past tense and she says she would have died if it wasn't for me.

Incredibly unsettling dream desu. I woke up right after and the emotions were all still very fresh in my mind, like i had actually lost my mom.

I had a similar dream repetitively when I was younger. All I can say is that I had immense difficulties with my mother growing up, shouting matches and the like (I'm the only son) but through it all and even still completely aware that I love her very much.

To anons posting their dreams: you have to understand that dreams can be understood only when we have personal associations with the key figures of the dream.
Now it does not mean that it is impossible to get some insights out of a raw description, but it is usually not enough to deeply assess what is going on.
