Hey /lit/, /fit/fag here. Is bookzz.org reliable? How do you guys read pdf files? Would an iPad mini be good enough?
Sorry for all the stupid questions. Pic not related.
I'd recommend getting a cheap ereader.
You can get a kobo for about £30 - $40.
Then just download ebooks and drag drop them into the ereader using usb cable.
Bookzz.org is good. So is libgen.io.
The ebook channel on the discord is good, a few guys on there have large amounts of ebooks which they'll happily upload for you: https://discord.gg/gyFF5b9.

Okay. Thank you.
I already have an iPad. Does Kobo have any advantages over the iPad? (Should I still buy one?)

I have never used bookzz but maybe?
Most people here who use tablets use a Kindle and the Kindle store (which you can download on ios)
iPad mini wouldn't be my first choice but if it doesn't bother you, then the tablet hardly matters

Either print pdfs or read them on mobile or a laptop. Depends how long they are and how much reading you want to do on a screen

Bookzz set off my anti-virus the other day when I visited the main page. Claimed there was malware, but I guess I blocked it? Haven't had that problem since.

kobos and other e-readers have special screens intended for reading. A lot nice to read from

Sorry for stupid replies. Bookzz is usually good and the iPad would be fine I'm sure. You don't need a kobo for what you're gonna use it for and the iPad is probably better for pdfs anyway (besides the lack of e-ink, which I'm sure you don't care about).
