Life is a lot like coin collecting, it stopped being fun a long time ago.

He was awoken by the robotic voice on his answering machine. Another empty caller, another invisible salesman. He made eggs and thought about all the phone calls he needed to make that day. The pharmaceutical distributor, the insurance company, the doctors office, the accountant, his mother if he remembered. He went to work and hoped that he would poop around 11:00. He had been severely constipated for the last year or so. He had went three times this week, an uplifting sign at least. Maybe he could postpone the day he planned on killing himself (he knew he never would anyway, he just preferred to organize and align his life according to conceptual tragedies, he'd always been this way since he was a child).

He took a shit around twelve although he needed to strain and it looked hard like abandoned Mexican cuisine. He spent one hour tracing a new path through the office's hallways. He spent this time formulating how many possible combinations and permutations there were to take around the labyrinthine design of the building. Combinations: order mattered.

He got home and called his mother. She updated him on the latest regional massacre. This time an epidemic concerning the arson of the home of many postmen was developing. Of course the anarchists were assumed. They planned to go to dinner this Sunday. He was hesitant to suggest Italian or Chinese as this would cause bloating and flatulence. They settled on the new gluten free restaurant in town.
