Pretty much any Victorian literature. I really can't bring myself to slog through massive tomes that are usually little more than pretense for the British to espouse their banal ideas about marriage and love. Dickens, the Brontes, Austen (yeah i know, she's pre-victorian), all of it seems way too dry to bother attempting
