I would rather comment on that graffiti.
The 'artist' went out of their way to copy a twitter post in graffiti and then alter it slightly so they could claim it as their own. What kind of person does that?

I would rather comment on your dubs
The anon who posted that post received a dubs and still wastes his life on here seemingly without knowing how lucky he is.

You know what kind of person does that.

hey, i never thought of constance garnett as an author in and of herself, as much as i absolutely adore the woman and read almost exclusively her translations out of reverence and trust in her obviously deft ability, i could never consider her an author in the sense that I would those she translated. still, good idea.

Ya dude, a total plagiarized Twitter post! Every human being in the world hasn't thought this at some point.
Excellent work.

It's on an ongoing joke here but ya I love her translations the most of out of anyone. Her choice of words have the most power and impact .

I fell for the p&v meme.

pevear and volokhonsky themselves have admitted that garnett is "often the most precise". i can show you the video if you'd like.
1.Cortazar
2.Hemingway
3.Kafka
am pleb pls no bully

p&v is easier to read but it has no impact or emotion. Megashark is the worst of them all I don't know why Modern Library used his translations for the dosto short story compilation.
I have a serious /lit/ predicament. Should I take a class on Shakespeare or Ancient Greek philosophy next semester? I cant have both unfortunately
>>9537351
Tough choice but one should always start with the Greeks and having a professor guide you through it should make it easier for you. Shakespeare is easier to master on your own time.
1. H.P. Lovecraft
2. Alexandre Dumas
3. Ray Bradbury

It's literally a copy of the twitter account character "wolfpupy" except painted orange and white like a fox.
Its not an obscure account either, theres merchandise in shops.

Anon could you tell me what so great about cortazar? Where are his great books? I've read Rayuela (pretty good), Bestiario and Historia de Cronopios y famas, and I think he's only 'aight'
