How's that novel/project coming along, /lit/? What

I've been making notes on a script I wanted to write for about 2 months now, and then all the sudden I find out that there's 2 movies very similar to what I had in mind coming out soon, so I kind of lost a bit of interest in actually writing the thing.

Made an erotica short story about a shape shifting succubus in modern times. Got a ton of views.

I've not managed to work on the novel for a couple of weeks as I have two small publications I've had to write for, as well as work and alcoholism but I'm in a place now where most of that's out the way and I can focus.
