What is style and how can it be cultivated? What is your writing

I call my style "Post-modern Tyrannosaurus Rex" because it reads very heady, but doesn't actually hold any ideas.

I have no suitable reaction image for this.

I identify an author that I like, then I pick his best œuvre and copy it exactly into my leather notepad/belt accessory. I feel this gives my writing some type of soul.
