How does /lit/ choose what books to read next?
I have a large folder of bookmarked wikipedia pages of books, and I just sort through that until I find one that's interesting, and then I go read it.
I'll read some basic shit in the new fiction section of book stores and then read something recommended by /lit/. Repeat.
at the moment I'm trying to read books from this list

when I find something I want to study I may read a wiki page and google it. While reading i take notes of the authors and books mentioned in what I'm reading. Good luck.

I stare at my shelf for several minutes and think "Oh maybe it's time I should get to this," or "Haven't read this in a while."

I read whatever I see on /lit/ at around the time I finish my last book

I read technical books or text books on stuff I'm interested in then I'll read some mind candy like Sci-ffi or Fantasy then every couple cycles I throw in a classic and then run back to mind candy. I'm not the brightest bulb in the bunch so sometimes I have to read a classic two or three times before I understand why its a classic.
