I'm a girl who wants to sell out because I like money. I'm going to slave away on market research and hero's journeys and knockoffs of popular themes and character for a few months and publish the results as an Amazon ebook.
Should I write a romance novel or a young adult novel?
Of course you are going to sell out, it is in your nature as a woman
You should write a self immolation guide and test it, to check it similitude.
Bump!!
Write young adult that has romance but it's not the main theme of the book; it's just an aside. That way it appeals to but not exclusively romance readers. Make sure to have some male characters with a semi homoerotic relationship that's unspoken but there for fangirls to ship, and maybe a cute (innocent) protective older brother to younger sister style relationship too.

nigger, slave away, see which is more profitable, consult your own style and see whether there are any impediments in approaching one genre over another and fucking do it.
Jesus, you can't be this retarded or attention depraved to think this is a legitimate question.

Google "warrior forums amazon publishing".
Not only does amazon provide analytics and market share for genres, but there are 3rd party software apps to track niches.

Shrewd, I like this. I'm a little concerned about spreading myself too thin tho. High concept scifi bores me rigid, I like suffering too much to do contemporary realism, I feel as if werewolf dickings are an oversaturated market etc

That's the thing. Romance novels sell consistently, but YA has a wider potential audience.
YA Romance potentially welds the two, even if your mom doesn't get any bodice ripping scenes. But that brings me back to spreading myself too thin.

That entire forum gives me a headache, but I suffer for my art, namely, the art of selling out, which one could say is the craft of spiritual degradation etc etc
Is there such thing as a hack writer chan where hacks shamelessly mock the readers of their novels for falling for their cheap tricks and then list their cheap tricks in great detail? I could go for that

How much help do you need to write a garbage book? You will fail and there's nothing romantic about a starving YA author.

I was a heavy spammer from 2006-2010 when gmail "beat" email spam and sold their software. If only it still worked, I would be targeting ebooks to professionals all day. Linked-In adds targeting investing advice to doctors would be a fuckin dream
