Anyone read Pure Filth? I'm interested in it conceptually and I've enjoyed Peter Sotos audio stuff before, but the book costs so much it's difficult to justify.

what a faggot
You can probably find it for cheaper if you wait around for it to pop up on eBay or something. I've only read one Sotos book outside some assorted interview, magazine stuff, but I guess Pure Filth is pretty different since it's just transcripts from Jamie Gillis flicks.

I mean I know I can get it for a few bucks cheaper but it's still around $60 shipped.
I wish they'd just put it out as an ebook or they could give a sample chapter or something.

An interview with Sotos if you haven't heard it. His part starts about halfway through.

I mean you can score it for like half that price if you're patient and aren't like fiending to read it. I see it come up once in awhile since I occasionally try to find deals on his stuff (not very lucky though). I've heard that he is very particular about his work making it onto the internet so yeah, no ebooks. In one of his books he apparently shit talked the guy who scanned his old Pure magazines and put them online.

I'll have to start actively looking for it, then. Thanks for the tip. Honestly I think if I can find it for under $50 shipped I'd probably snatch it.
