They can't give infinite ebooks out or they would never be allowed to give out copies in the first place, so they have to pay the publishers for a set amt of copies like 2-8 usually

This. Since I've gotten a Kindle I've had the ease of access to nearly anything I want to read, whether it's pirated, from Project Gutenberg, or from the Amazon store itself. I literally have too much stuff to read now. What's this on hold shit.
