Any genuinely insightful literature on social anxiety? I'm tired of my own inexorable cowardice.

Maybe something where the philosophy is to go out and become a part of society. Like Heidegger's Dasein kind of.

Where is society?
You aren't a coward, you just aren't used to shitty people yet. People suck, man. Seriously. Social anxiety is a blessing and a curse, because most of your social interaction in this era would consist of meaningless discussion on brain dead topics. Or not even that. I'm pretty convinced /lit/ people don't even exist irl.

This.
All you really need to know is that people are nothing to be afraid of if you dont let yourself get tangled in their bullshit.

Not on social anxiety but check out Camus, start with The Stranger, and then either The Plague, The Fall or either of his essay books The Myth of Sisyphus or The Rebel Man if you want to get into the more purely philosophical side of things.
Also my diary desu.
