Why are gay Mary Sues so popular in fiction?
>only flaw
He's an agressive criminal.

>He thinks aggression and criminality are flaws.
Being gay is bad enough
>highly principled gangster-robin-hood who robs whole armed mobs of drug dealers simply by pointing a shotgun at them and whistling
>never gets located by all-powerful criminal organizations he hits despite him seemingly being known to absolutely everyone in the city
>le sympathetic philosophizing cultured mobster full of sassy satirical rhetoric memetype
>he has a problem with him being gay

But he distributes free drugs to the poor people, so they would tip him off if Barksdale's men came looking for him.
He also takes a long time to finally get revenge on Stringer Bell, which sort of leavens out his omnipotence.
