Hey /lit/

I have finished writing my own polemic, I have just finished all 5 pages, would someone like to read it and say if it's good or not?
>>
I'll read it, and in addition to just giving a judgment, I will explain that judgment. :)

> Sipping on a glass of boxed wine and rolling a spliff around in his fingers, Harold Roubleberg prepares himself for Crenshaw University's second annual Culturefest by getting, in his own words, "Completely fucked up." Looking around the dorm room, sees Justin Jams, Albert Beckett, and Mark Hoffeltroff - best friends for the past year and half of school, all transferred in as Juniors to be part of Crenshaw's first graduating class, see themselves at the forefront of a-um-uh, a Cultural Revolution!
> "Crenshaw University. . . committed to refurbishing -er waz it remodeling?- young people into global citizens." Mission statement of the school, Harold thinks about components of the speech he is going to give at commencement next month, televised; he had given the best impromptu speech at a tryout just three weeks- hold on, mission statement, speech- Yes! Yessir! He was going to be Crenshaw's first commencement speaker, a-and his speech was going to be televised! Crenshaw had only opened two years ago after making enough money from a crowd-funding effort aimed at reforming higher education in United America, new name comes from a rebranding effort, and the passage of the 28th Amendment, repealing and replacing the 10th. It read something like- Harold! - ??
> "Harold!"

Is this supposed to be ironic? Or are you really just this /pol/?

>getting, in his own words, "Completely fucked up."
did he coin the term, "completely fucked up"? if not, in what sense is the term "his own words"?

>Socially aware individuals, want to hear what Harold has to tell them, learned some hot new information today in GENS 143 [Gender Identity and Society] today: "Simon di Boovore," name sure is hard to pronounce, that kid from Puerto Rico, what's his name? No no no, the kid from Haiti, that's it, always pronounces it just right...
it's not clear what these haitian/puerto rican kids are doing
>Goldman-Soros lawn
oy vey, calm yourself my mensch, so some philanthropic jews want to finance a goy university, don't worry. look up the jewish miscegenation rate, american jews will be nonexistent in 100 years.
>PICAHO Tribe (A union of southwestern indigenous peoples) [People Indigenously Called America HOme]
i think you are satirizing fake native americans, and simultaneously that endency on the left to make up acronyms? i've heard both these jokes before
>he should not culturally appropriate 'The Dab'- but it's the only move he knows.
i get what you're trying to say but the dab is not so much a dance, as much as one of those ironic gestures, like finger guns or something.
>Dang, back on the internet, distracted again, "I know!!" sez he, "I'll look up quotes from my favorite classic literature such as The Martian, Ready Player One, and Fahrenheit 451!" Back again watching YouTube 'Let us Plays' of Super Mario Maker 3 and Overwatch 2's latest expansion pack (it added swimsuit costumes for all of the busty characters, Harold is gonna have to look for some porn o' that later).
maybe i'm not hip enough to get who this is making fun of but isn't this progressive dude objectifying women? he should feeel guilty!

>"We may be the generation of Pokémon Go, but we are also the generation who will go out into the world and change it for it to be better!" *cue raucous applause*

i assume the crowd is applauding ironically? pokemon go is uncool

>Yes, things were certainly looking up for the can-do kid from Manhattan. . .

this is funny!

in general, i think you should get to know SJ types better! it seems like you are examining them from a cynical distance and that your satire is too quick to judge according to already existing tropes. this is fine but its also a little artificial.
