Demons the title is a bad translation. The russian word is "Bess" does translate into demon but "Beshonee" translates into insane.
In the russian language it has more weight to it.
Theres a lot stuff like that throughout his translated work.

Why not. You should give it a shot but if you wanna go in depth check russian books and translate them.

I can't recall the names of the actual translators, but I prefer the bantam publishers version of brothers versus penguins classics
