Can someone redpill me on Cesare Borgia?
I never see him discussed on here even though he's mentioned in a lot of literature and is literally the picture of Jesus.
>what should I be reading?
>anything odd you know about him?
Also, does anyone know of any accurate and detailed documentaries about him?

>Assassins Creed
Fuck off. This is a literature board. Also, they literally make shit up as they go along despite claiming it's "based on real history", or whatever.
>Muh forced diversity
>Muh renaissance genius was evil
>Muh Arab assassins are good guys
>Muh black pirate captains
Don't post again.

After a very brief review of non-fiction, this received generally good reviews, while a 2013 history of the borgias got trashed.
These also seem good
Lucrezia Borgia: The Life of a Pope's Daughter in the Renaissance
Rafael Sabatini (of Captain Blood and Scaramouche) also did a pulp life of him, which I am actually going to read myself now. Thanks OP

Also I have heard this is quite good, if not again, pulp.
Prince of Foxes (1947) by Samuel Shellabarger
Apart from the books recommended here you might as well read The Prince since Cesare was the role model for the book.
Also the incest rumours are probably false.
