I'm looking for well-written, fictional books about misanthropes, losers, introverts, NEETs, lunatics etc. who hate the current social order and want to overthrow it.

one of the great Moliere plays is called The Misanthrope, quick read and definitely worth it. while we're on the subject i highly recommend FW Murnau's adaptation of Tartuffe, Emil Jannings is the greatest.

Notes from Underground. also fight club and CO don't deserve to be equated with Confederacy of Dunces.
There's a good short story by Jean-Paul Sartre once about a guy who went postal. I don't remember its' name but it's one of the short stories in "Le Mur" (The Wall).
Found it. It's called Erostratus:

This one, like Proust, is only half fictional, but nonetheless incredibly bothersome: Frederick Exley's A Fan's Notes.
