I found this book to be quote cozy. It literally suggests putting your feet up and going to the bathroom before beginning as part of the first chapter.

A pint at the pub? Perhaps your countryman Robert Graves' Good-bye to All That-- which shouldn't be comfy, but is. At mum's after tea while perhaps fondly, but vaguely considering your American cousin you can pick up Christopher Morley's Parnassus on Wheels or The Haunted Book Shop, two of the most comfy books concerning bibliophilia ever written. By no means take either of these latter two to the pub, however.
