I do think bill nye is a bit ignorant on matters of philosophy, to be fair. He did write off the whole discipline in a short minute long talk on whether or not you should pursue a degree in philosophy. He also seems to disregard the entire lack of free will argument. In that regard I think that sam harris is extremely well spoken, and lays out his points extremely eloquently. I think they both have their strengths though.
