I have invented a 21st-century way for writers to independently publish their stories and build readership and eventually publish their stories as full-fledged books. But I haven't tested it on anyone. I'm testing it on myself. I'll give myself two months before reporting back on /lit/.

The Internet has liberated musicians, comic artists, filmmakers, etc. (sort of)

If you speak a foreign language you can make money on fiverr. That's what I am doing now as a part time job. But it is by no means a passive income.
