Any thought on this? Anyone read this? Started reading it a few days ago about 70% of the book is read so far. I find it hard to find motivation to do anything at this moment since reading.
Please share your experiences, if you have read it.
Pic related, the book in question.

I've read it and I found it a bit scary at first, but ultimately comforting, knowing that I'm not the only one who's felt that life kinda sucks.
Read pic related for a more neutral/academic take on some of these issues. It's a redpill and it won't make you happy, but it might make you wiser.
And finally, I recommend Jordan Peterson, the current top meme intellectual. He'll probably set you straight.
Read Nietzsche

Well at first i felt very scared and sad but as of now i am glad i read it so far and i want to finish it. It confirms what i thought life to be. I just did not expect anyone else thought of this.
Thank you for the recommendation

Already read some of his books. I am inclined to not agree on most of his opinions. Though he some very decent things to say.
It's on point.

If you enjoyed that you'll probably like Eugene Thacker's three volume Horror of Philosophy.
Very underwhelming. There's nothing that hasn't been said before and better.

pretty shitty equivalency family
This is a really great book if you read it for what it actually is: a horror non-fiction book. It's not a philosophy explanation. It's Ligotti deliberately creating an unfalsifiable terrifying worldview. The title "The Conspiracy Against The Human Race" is great because it works both ways. It "exposes" the conspiracy of unhappiness while also itself being a conspiracy to create unhappiness.
If you want actual philosophical antinatalism I'm pretty sure Emil Cioran is a good choice
