I didn't like it but I dont have a strong opinion on it anyways. El pintor de batallas (supposedly his best novel -at least thats what he says) and El francotirador paciente are complete and utter crap. I specially hate his style: its too deliberate and poor, he has no talent at all and his technique is just bad. He repeats buzzwords or expressions he likes over and over and over, etc. Just a bad writer overall.
