>tfw literary genius of epic proportions but I don't want to spend my time writing all day.
What do, /lit/? Should I go actually live my life, or should I spend my time just making the next literary masterpiece?
>inb4 nuh uh, you ain't a literary genius

Experience will make your writing richer. But as a literary genius, you already knew this.
I recommend a little of both. Experience is usually going to have an impact on your fiction, by taking bits and pieces from your own life to flesh out scenes. Along with that, writing books requires time alone, for long hours. Reading is also a recommendation. Live, read, write. What's better than that?
I'm the same.
I'm not going to bother writing my masterpiece because frankly what's the point? I have it in my head for my personal enjoyment. Why should I write it down for plebeians who won't even understand it? No, no, I'd much rather spend my time masturbating to anime.

I recommend putting your literary expertise to use in practical matters like the sciences or biblical study. I had the option to write great fantastical stories through a God given gift and denied it because I didn't want to waste people's lives even though it would make me rich.

>Should I actually live my life
Depends on what you consider living life to be: I can assure you that most aspects of "living life" are overrated. If you want good experiences, go traveling by yourself, or spend time in nature.
I'm the same. I'm not sure the world is ready for my magnum opus.
