Russel's book on Leibniz is really good. If not admirable. I really liked the one on maths too ("Introduction to maths philosophy"). However, he fails miserably when he tries to be critical of other philosophers (his "History of Western philosophy" sounds like the ramblings of a 20year old ignorant).
