>the sublime (from the Latin sublīmis) is the quality of greatness, whether physical, moral, intellectual, metaphysical, aesthetic, spiritual, or artistic. The term especially refers to a greatness beyond all possibility of calculation, measurement, or imitation.

Even asking that question shows how little you know about the sublime.
in Atomised by houlebeque....bruno gets mounted by catherienne in the jacuzzi, without exchanging words and she deepthroats his throbbing member till he experiences extasis via orgasm.

you mean you can't express the sublime on a weeb image posting board?
humour me.
would you rather i started another land/peterson/pol/ thread??

I think the sublime is a great topic for a thread but also that it's laughably naive to think words on a page could invoke/inspire the sublime. I also kind of enjoy the "/pol/" threads even though I refuse to take part in them. People here are more similar to them than they realize.

That's a laughably narrow view of art that you have if you don't think that it can provoke such feelings in the reader/spectator
>LMAO it's just colors on a canvas bro!

The only accounts of the sublime I'm familiar with involve amazingly powerful forces of nature and reasonable fear of death. I don't think any art in any medium can compete with the force of the ocean.

I have it for the pain from plantar fasciitis. I like GDP a lot but don't buy it often. The dispensary closest to me has 50 dollar ounces of shake and I can't pass that up.
