How do we fix art? Is it merely a matter of tweaking the fundamentals, or is it a matter of time? Should art fix itself?
How will literature, as an artistic medium, stand out in the future?
People will always produce good works. There's nothing wrong with art.

Art is the result of its times. Art itself is working fine.
Rather, you ask how do we fix the world.
The answer to that is to end capitalism and the state.
It's turned into a perverse investment/money laundering racket.
once the inevitable fall of capitalism occurs the shoddy foundations that prop up the art world will be washed away and it will be forced to reconsider what its purpose is.....from this we shall get decent contemporary art.

Anytime anybody complains about not being able to find good art in this day and age (literature, visual art, music etc.) it's always a result of them not looking hard enough, or caring JUST enough about the medium to complain vaguely but not enough to dig deeper
