What is /depressioncore/ lit?
Besides Cioran and Ligotti. Preferably seeking non-fiction, academic based works on why I feel nothing.

The Recognitions desu
Read the following works of Hesse, in this order, back to back:
Siddhartha
Steppenwolf
Demian
Narcissus & Goldmund
Beneath the Wheel
Dunno if it'll work for you, but by the time I was halfway through Demian I was in a bad place even for me and, roughly 10 years later, I'm still unsure how I didn't end it by the time I finished Beneath the Wheel.
I don't know if /lit/ still love-hates him, but The Depressed Person by David Foster Wallace is goddamn brilliant.
