What would be a good book for a new reader.
I'm 24 years old and are forced to read and write an analysis for a book.
I've been wanting to start reading for a while, but other activities have always been prioritized. I have heard that Stephan king have written some good novels in the past. I would preferere something that is around 200-400 pages long as i got a tight deadline on this thing.
I also came over this picture from /lit/. Anything especially great to pick here maybe?
finnegans wake

With no sarcasm or irony check out "Brave New World". The first chapter may seem strange but stick with it. It's not too long and it deals with a lot of themes still prevalent in our world today.
Well what do you like, what are you interested in, what are you not interested in?
Read 'Things Fall Apart.' It's short and written in simple language, but has multiple layers of psychological depth such that you won't have a hard time thinking of something to write about it.

I've read this three times. mostly to study it's merit, so I can use it to become a fancy author

Op here. It's funny that you say this. Because after i got the sarcasm posts i checked my picture once more and decided to go for brave new world. Should be fun. The catch is that i have to read it in my own language which is Norwegian. I have a feeling that i won't get ''the full experience'' this way, but i guess thats fine.
