I get it...I get it. Cockroaches deserve to live also. I swear by my life that I will never, ever crush another as long as I live.
This is PETA's dreamboat.
Why did Kafka have such an affection for cockroaches?
I will abstain from making an antisemitic remark.

Clever boy.
Since this thread is here...
I disagree. Cockroaches GET to live. Only if they value thier own life do they DESERVE anything; ie, life.
I've never read The Metamorphosis, btw.

I don't see why it's so heavily revered to be honest.
Depressing, unfortunate, sure. Worthy of being studied? meh.
I don't think that was the idea, it's more a parable about the categorical imperative, and the complications that arise from Gregor's condition. Obviously he's doing a great harm to his family, so what should he do? How should they treat him? On another level its about feeling like a burden, losing your footing, and isolation, which is pretty clear.

Furthermore, the original German translation is much more ambiguous about it than English translators have decided to interpret it. A monstrous vermin... something about that word in his culture mean something else.. in English it could mean a rodent, but context clues suggest some kind of insect. I've heard ideas it was the way to call Jews in Kafka's time.

This is NOM's (National Organization for Marriage) dreamboat.
Why did Kafka have such an affection for younger sisters?

I get it...I get it. Middle aged Victorian era white men deserve to engage in primal debauchery away from the confines of civilization also. I swear by my life that I will never, ever forcefully bring back another from the jungle as long as I live.
This is a postcolonial studies students' dreamboat.
Why did Conrad have such an affection for Belgian ivory merchants?
>I get it...I get it. Amoral quasi-immortal incarnations of evil deserve to engage in bloodbaths against innocent creatures also. I swear by my life that I will never, ever lock the outhouse door as long as I live.
>This is a Bible and/or tortilla aficionado's dreamboat.
>Why did McCarthy have such an affection for huge dancing manbabies?
