About to read Dubliners, gonna try and finish by the end of the day, even though I've got some work to do. Please tell me its an easier read than the big meme.

But I'm not too dumb for short stories, I'm just too dumb for Ulysses.

Dubliners is a comfy read, especially if your edition has footnotes or an annex for the Irish references and the vernacular. Most times you can infer from context though.
Which one?
>tfw can't stop reading pomo contemporary fiction
I'm not going to make it, bros
>tfw forcing yourself to read a thousand page Stephen King novel or another Game of Thrones volume because if you don't everyone will think you're being an elitist snob
>mindlessly flicking through another scandinavia crime thriller so I have something to talk about with my co-workers

>talking to your co-workers

I like King but I've never read his big ones. I don't think I can deal with 1k pages and small as fuck print to boot.
