Hey anons, im seeing myself increasingly interested and touched by the Taoist school. On The so called Easter Religions and philosophies, it's the one i most deeply connect and in which i study. Buddha is also Nice but i guess the limiting nature on life itself its such a turn off. Can we have a /east/ thread? Specifically on Taoism (but other's forms are welcome)

I still don't understand what the Tao is. Is it just the physical laws that made the universe possible? Or is it some mystical spooky bullshit that "just can't be explained dude"
This kind of vague shit really turns me off of eastern religions

In addition to the Tao Te Ching you need to read Zhuangzi and the Zen Teaching of Bodhidharma.
Other works like Daoism A Guide for the Perplexed and Absolute Tao are good. The Tao of Pooh and The Te of Piglet are fun if you are into it.
